Your 7 biggest security questions answered

As a professional Immigration service, you can trust that CanadianVisa.org holds itself to the highest levels of security. Applying for a Canadian visa can be a complicated process and it does mean that you will need to provide personal details. While you be reluctant to provide sensitive information, our priority is to protect you as the client.

  1. Are you affiliated with the government?

We are a private company and therefore not affiliated with the government in any way. Using our services does involve a fee, as we assist you through every step of the visa application process.

  1. How does an RCIC work?

We work with certified RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant) professionals including Marian de Vera. These individuals are accredited by the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Counsel, enabling them to offer immigration advice and services to people all over the world. You can search for our RCIC consultants by visiting the RCIC website here and entering Marian de Vera’s registration number into the system. Registration number: R510661

  1. How do you ensure that my payments are secure?

We work with people from all over the world, which is why we ask for payments to be completed while we are on the phone with you during your assessment. To ensure your safety, we work with the SSL “Secured sockets layer” system. This is a system specifically designed by Microsoft for online payments. After your payment is made, the SSL system will encrypt and then delete your card information from the system.

This system is used by some of the biggest online companies in the world, including Amazon, eBay, PayPal and online banking.

  1. Why do you need my card information?

In order to start processing your application, you will need to make a payment on your VISA or MasterCard debit/credit card. These card services offer the safest payments in the world, allowing you to instantly track your payments.

  1. Why must I provide my CVV number?

When we are processing a payment over the phone, we always ask for your CVV number. This 3-digit number on the back of your card acts as an “electronic signature”, which is essential in making your payment.

  1. Do you have a refund policy?

Yes, we do have a refund policy. However, refunds are only granted at the sole discretion of CanadianVisa.org.

CanadianVisa has the right to perform credit checks for each user with the help of a third-party credit agency on the basis of the data provided. If there is any suspicion of fraudulent payment, including the use of stolen credit cards, or any other fraudulent action (including any charge-back or other payment reversal), CanadianVisa has the right to block the account of the user and reverse any refunds made, if any.

It is the obligation of the user to supply true and accurate information with the necessary supporting documents to support the details provided, enabling CanadianVisa to transfer his bundle of information to the RCIC and/or other third party professionals for reviewing and assessing an individual case.

If it is found that the user has failed to supply true and accurate information and/or the necessary documents and/or would not cooperate with CanadianVisa’s team to gather the necessary information, CanadianVisa will not be able to forward the case to the RCIC. In this case, no initial assessment or professional feedback will be given and no refund will be granted to the user by CanadianVisa.

All refunds shall be provided by CanadianVisa at our sole discretion. In no event shall refunds exceed the amount that has actually been paid by you. The paid fees shall not be refunded in the event that a period of 10 days has passed from the time of the purchase by the user or any suspicion that you are in breach of Terms of Use. This is due to the resources that were already invested by CanadianVisa in supplying the purchased service you acquired.

CanadianVisa’s Fees shall apply even if an application has been made impossible owing to events beyond CanadianVisa’s control, including but not limited to an act of war, any acts of nature, any visa program instruction changes – e.g. eligibility, details required or any other changes, limitations of a technological nature or economic resources, changes of procedural or legislative nature and/or state action.

  1. What is your privacy policy?

You can find our Privacy Policy here, or in the footer of our website, along with the terms and conditions related to using our services. Once you have made a payment with us and become a client, you and your information will be protected under the policy. All confidential information including personal details and banking information will be kept private.
