If you have tertiary education qualifications, work experience or skills, you can immigrate from Ecuador through the Federal Skilled Worker Program and contribute to the Canadian Economy.

To qualify for this program you need to prove that you meet the necessary requirements. These requirements include having work experience as a professional, or experience in a trade or technical occupation. If you are successful in your application, you will obtain permanent residency in Canada.

  • Take the Canadian Language Benchmark test which will assess you English language abilities in four categories: writing, reading, speaking and listening, and

Atlantic High-skilled Program

To apply for this program, you must:

  • Have at least 1 year’s experience working in a management position, professional or skilled occupation
  • You must have a foreign degree or diploma that is equal to a Canadian credential. To prove this, you will need to have an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report done
  • You will need to take an approved language test that will assess your English and/or French language proficiency
  • You will need to provide evidence that you have enough financial resources to support yourself and any dependents whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not

Atlantic Intermediate-skilled Program

Here are the criteria to apply for this program:

  • Have at least 1 year’s experience working in a position that requires a high school education or job-specific training
  • Have a high school diploma that is equal to a Canadian credential. To prove this, you will need to obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report
  • You will need to take an approved language test that will assess your English and/or French language proficiency
  • You will need to provide evidence that you have enough financial resources to support yourself and any dependents whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not
