Immigrate With the Federal Skilled Worker Program
First up, we have the Federal Skilled Program (FSWP). This program has a fast processing time (an average application time of three to six months) and does not have a job offer requirement.
The FSWP was created in 2015 and is managed by the Express Entry system, which helps Canada find the right applicants with the necessary background the country needs. There are currently 347 occupations that are applicable under the FSWP, do you want to discover if you can apply? Complete this contact form and our staff will talk to you about your immigration options.
Requirements for the FSWP
Under the FSWP, you must make an Expression of Interest (EOI) by creating something called an Express Entry profile. The information you enter in your profile will give them a potential score out of 100 based on an assessment grid.
To qualify you must score at least 67 out of a 100 on this grid.
Points are scored based on factors like:
Arranged employment: 10 points
Adaptability: 10 points
Age: 12 points
Education: 25 points
Language ability: 28 points
Work experience: 15 points
What Other Requirements Do You Need for the FSWP?

Ontario is at the forefront of Canadian immigration. According to Statista, Ontario let 132,417 people make the province their home in 2018 through various streams of their Immigrant Nominee Program.
Ontario gave out the most provincial nominations in 2017 and 2018 out of all the other regions of Canada. Not surprising, considering that there are three categories with several streams to allow for talented workers to immigrate to Canada depending on their occupations and qualifications.
To give you a better perspective, here are how the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program’s categories are broken down.
