About Me


Sinethemba (Themba) Phongolo has been writing within a professional capacity for the past three years. He's been a writer for immigration for under six months. Matric Certificate. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in English and Literary Studies for UWC and UCT respectively.


His writing experience also includes writing lesson materials for English First and The Really Great Teacher Company, which he was qualified to do through his possession of a TEFL Certificate. As a freelance he has also written for Ghost written for the Urban Writers and writing general interest blogs for Passion Posts FZCO, an SEO company out of Dubai.


Themba’s interests include writing, drawing, architecture, sculpture, sleeping, watching television, listening to music, painting and reading. He professes to live judiciously by the motto You Only Live Once (YOLO). His closest familial connections are to his nuclear family which includes his parents (mother and father) and two sisters.

An ethnic IsiXhosa person he possesses a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and great grandparents that extend far and wide.


Themba feels excited about Immigration because of the promise that it presents, which is that any person from any walk of life -so long as they qualify- can immigrate to another country and earn a better life for themselves and their families and the people they love/care about.
