Immigrate to Canada from India For a Higher Quality of Life

Canada invited over 92,000 newcomers to apply for permanent residency in 2018, of which 43% were of Indian origin. According to Business Today, 39,600 Indians received permanent residency in Canada through the Express Entry system, which is currently the most popular way for skilled immigrants to immigrate to Canada.

With thousands of jobs available to both skilled and semi-skilled workers, which are open to both you and your spouse, your chances of attaining an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for permanent residency is greatly increased purely because of your nationality.

For example, when you apply to study in Canada, your application will be fast-tracked to 20 calendar days simply by applying through the Student Direct Stream, which is only available to 6 other nationalities.

Canada is set to invite 1 million newcomers to Canada by 2021, and you could be one of them when you apply through one of over 70 immigration and visa options. The government has had to address the current labour market gap by introducing programs such as the PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) and the Express Entry system to not only speed up the application process but make it more accessible to those who want to immigrate to Canada.

If you are successful in your visa application you will be able to apply for permanent residence, which means that you will be eligible to receive free healthcare and public education (up until Grade 12) for both you and your family. And after just 3 years of living and working in Canada, you and your loved ones could be Canadian citizens.

1. When you save on healthcare, you invest in your future.

Canada offers its citizens and permanent residents a world-renowned public health care system, free of charge, not to mention also having access to its exceptional public schooling system, ranked among the top educational institutions in the world, up until grade 12. This means that your children will be able to receive a world-class secondary education at no cost to you.

By saving on years of secondary schooling and basic health care, you will be able to invest in your child’s university education and send them to one of the world’s most highly regarded universities.

2. When you study in Canada, you gain Canadian work experience.

Did you know that as a graduate of a designated Canadian learning institution you may be able to apply for the PGWPP (Post Graduate Work Permit Program)? This allows you to gain valuable Canadian work experience in occupations with a NOC (National Occupation Classification) code A, O or B. This essentially increases your chances of receiving permanent residence in Canada through the Canadian Experience Class when you apply through the Express Entry system. After 1 year of work experience, you will be eligible to apply for the CEC and could receive permanent residence in as little as 4 months.

3. When you get a job offer in a province where your occupation is in demand, you secure your permanent residence.

Canada has thousands of jobs available for both semi and highly skilled workers, but the mistake that most applicants make is to apply for work in regions that are already saturated with skilled immigrants. As a highly skilled individual you may have an excellent chance of receiving an ITA through the Express Entry system however this does not guarantee that you will find a job once you immigrate to Canada.

One of the best ways to immigrate to Canada is to apply for a visa through a Provincial Nominee Program that has an Express Entry category. It is important to check that your occupation is in demand in your selected territory or province. This will increase your chances of receiving a PN (Provincial Nomination) which is worth 600 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System). Your maximum CRS score is 1200 which means that by having a PN you have already acquired half of the possible points required to receive an ITA.

This also increases your chance of finding a job offer, which you need to apply for permanent residency through the PNP. The higher the availability of jobs, the higher the chances that you will find employment, and the higher the chances of receiving permanent residence in Canada.

Another benefit to applying through a PNP with an Express Entry category is that by having an Express Entry profile, provinces and territories are able to choose eligible candidates from the biweekly Express Entry draw pools. This means that your chances to immigrate to Canada are vastly increased just by having an Express Entry profile.
