They have developed the Physician Stream to encourage physicians with the necessary skills and experience to immigrate to Canada.
Who is Eligible?
The Physician Stream is only open to general practitioners and family physicians (NOC 3112) and specialist physicians (NOC 311) with signed approved opportunities with the Nova Scotia Health Authority. In addition to this, there exists a general list of eligibility criteria that most applicants will be subject to when trying to move to Canada. This list includes but is not limited to age, level of education, occupation, level of experience in a designated occupation, language proficiency in both English and French, as well as the ability to adapt to life in Canada following immigration.
